Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Nice position, lovely food & drinks. We visited about 14.00 on Sunday. I noticed there were dirty pots waiting to be washed, milk boiling pots were used over & over again, without being washed, in between. Another member of staff was cleaning the tables, in the back of the cafe (near to where we were sat) using a dirty floor sweeping brush to sweep off the top of the tables (Not the normal I hope!) Quite like popping in here for a cuppa with a few friends on a day off. The location isn't the best as parking is limited a few times we have had to abort our trip as the carpark is full. (It seems to be shared with the care home visitors) there is plenty of outside seating that's nice when the weather is good. Inside is a normal Costa coffee store design, a bit dark for my liking but it is what it is. Customer toilets are normally nice and clean and although service can be on the slow side, this is normal with costa as the drinks do take...

Popped in for coffee on a rainy day, held the door for a member of staff coming in from the rain to later be grudgingly served by her. After numerous eye rolls, sighs and vital checkings of snapchat from our barista, we enjoyed our coffees away from the tills. We later returned to the tills before we left to buy some water where we were greeted with yet more eye rolls and an exhale of “ ughh another one” with reference to one of our purchases.
