I can't thank Costa enough for being open on Christmas day. We were staying in a local pub in Kirby Fleetham which had for some reason decided not to provide anything for their guests to eat for the evening. We wanted a sandwich at least.... So we had to go in search of somewhere..... Everywhere was shut, or only serving their own guests, but finally Costa's door was open for us. A really lovely young man served us with hot toasties and hot drinks - very much appreciated - thank you! (Only reason I can't put 5* is that not surprisingly, the choice...

Was looking straight at the young lass serving to try and get her attention. But her mind was obviously else where . To add insult to injury a tall man came in . And stood behind me . This must have woke the lass out of her dream like state. She looked over my shoulder and asked what he would like 🙈 I asked if I could get served as I had been stood here for some time .
