Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Costa on the Newton Road Torquay is a great coffee drive through. I’ve been going for a few months, it’s really quick & convenient and consistently good. First visit I was served by Briony, it really stood out to me how professional, friendly and efficient she was. She made a fuss of my dog who was eagerly leaning through the window to say hi. Over the months we always had a quick chat at the window when she served me. I went last week and asked after her as I hadn’t seen her for a few weeks. One of the team told me she had been promoted to area manager. I was so thrilled to hear this and not surprised. She’s a cut above in this service industry. Well deserved and congratulations Briony. This Costa has been great since it opened but it's gone downhill recently. Today, none of the empty tables had been cleared so people had to sit in front of dirty plates. All the cutlery we were given was dirty, but no staff were out on the floor and I wasn't about to get back in the queue to ask for clean ones.

The toasties were very greasy today but that's probably not the staff's fault.
