Crown Inn — Restaurant in England

An Asylum Seeker landing at Dover could not have been happier than The Dragon and myself when we “Landed” at the Crown Inn today. The joy of my first draft pint (or two) on Licensed Premises this year was further enhanced by an excellent alfresco lunch in the Beer Garden of this delightful Hostelry. Staff and Management could not have been more welcoming and the Fayre was both excellent and reasonably priced. It was with great reluctance that I recrossed the Severn to the Temperance Dictatorship of the Drakefuhrer Thank you all at the Crown for making our visit to Somerset so enjoyable. Diolch...

Even though there are still restrictions the welcome was warm and genuine. The food was very good and freshly cooked. The garden was clean and tidy with plenty of seating and I could see lighting for those late evening eats out.
