Went for Father's day. Recently refurbished in a style that complements it's location as a quaint typical village tea room.Great food, freshly ground coffee, tea and deserts in a wonderful setting in the village centre.Plenty of special such as salted caramel latte with cream.Coffee and Walnut Cake to die for. Friendly staff service and great quality.Covid compliant. A must on the stop through to Minehead or if cycling or walking through the village. Also supports local charities through sales of selected locally produced crafts. Top Top 1 Book ahead as is very popular with the village. Top Tip 2 Get there 10 minutes before to find a parking space.

First off those people with their less than complimentary reviews - well, I suppose you're entitled to your opinion...but hard to square some of the (quite frankly odd) complaints with our experience. Brie, bacon and cranberry toastie - absolutely on point and what a refreshing and delicious fruity side salad. Soup was fab, croutons another standout. What impressed me most, in a way was the coffee - not only do they use great coffee, they also know how to make it: so often a cappuccino just shows up as a milky coffee, but not here. Thanks Daisy's for a great afternoon pick-me-up.

We had a wonderful breakfast experience in this cafe last week. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and best of all... the food was exceptional!!! I ordered the vegetarian cooked breakfast, and it was all perfect. It was a large portion, and cooked perfectly. The veggie sausages and halloumi were delicious. We will definitely be going back very soon to enjoy another breakfast or lunch with family and friends. I thoroughly recommend this cafe!

This place has unfortunately really gone down hill. My friend and I went in Friday lunchtime.

We were one of only two sets of people there which firstly was a stark difference from before.

Then we were told there were no special today as “we haven’t bothered to do any” was the reply when we asked as the menu told us to.

We ordered chicken nuggets and chips for our toddlers. No vegetables were served with it we had to ask for them as extra. When it arrived the portion size was fine for a toddler although too small for any child over 5, the chicken nuggets were the really awful cheap congealed kind that most places no longer serve and probably have very little chicken in them. Disappointing as it doesn’t take much these days to buy indecent nuggets.

Our drinks, traditional lemonade, used to be high quality lemonade served in a glass with fresh fruit. It’s now cheap traditional lemonade with that awful sweetener taste.

We ordered chicken and bacon salads which would before be locally sourced chicken and a decent serving of salad. I now it’s battered chicken served in a small cereal bowl with little salad. Sweet potato fries were good though.

The service was friendly on the whole although slow.

It’s such a shame as Daisy’s used to be an award winning Tea Shop. It’s certainky a far cry from those days. The local pub is cheaper and much better quality. I think that’s where will will head next time. This is no longer either value for money or quality. Let’s hope the feedback is listened to and improved on. Not sure this little place will...

Expensive for what you get order me and my wife 2 sandwiches 14 pound for the 2. Bread not butter bacon hard on the edges sausage dint look right yes I added eggs but still expensive you could go to the town and have a breakfast for the price I also dint look at the menu outside you want open and honest reviews and you had a problem about me leave in my open honest review. You might be a small business but people also had the rights to have there say what they think if you can’t take a complaint then you won’t improve your food weather you like it or you dont like it the sausages had no skin on them better to nip into the town when your visiting bishop lydeard customers services also seems a problem when you...
