Just called in today when in the vicinity and looking for somewhere for a snack. Had a lovely soup and hot sandwich, followed by cake, plus a coffee. Food was good and there is also a good selection of local produce and other items for sale. Friendly service and it is right next to Riding Mill Railway Station, so handy for rail travellers. Would definitely visit again. They also mentioned having an evening opening on the 2nd and 3rd Wednesday of the month, which may be something to look out for.

This quiet café beside Riding Mill railway station is a real find with quality products and homemade scones, cakes and bakes etc. There are pods for outdoor eating and blankets if it's chilly. Lovely staff and good service. We queried being charged £26 for two coffees, two scones and a piece of cake and it appeared the previous customer's bill hadn't been cleared. Phew! Train lovers will enjoy the simple station and passing trains. Definitely worth a visit.

Stopped by whilst out at work after seeing sign on main road, wish I had just carried on driving. £10.50 for a takeaway tea, warmed up mediocre pasty and a cheese scone. Not really worth the money considering the wait, place was quiet at the time of ordering.

What a fantastic coffee house , coffee is absolutely amazing , freshly made and full of great taste I had an Americano full of strength and just right to set my day off. Whilst I was there is sat in the lovely garden area and ate a freshly prepared cheese and chutney sandwich (NOT pre-packed what a blessing !! ), which was very very tasty. The ladies who run this little coffee house are so friendly and have a great attention to detail , the whole coffee house gives a charming , warm and welcoming feeling . I would highly recommend this business and the high levels of food , drink and customer service...
