Desi Karachi in High Wycombe isn't just a restaurant; I have eaten there several times and was there on Wednesday 3rd of April with a group of friends. Among it’s many culinary delights, the food stands out as a true testament to the restaurant's commitment to delivering an authentic and satisfying dining experience. Offering a sumptuous spread that caters to every palate. Picture this: 2 succulent Lamb Chops, 4 juicy Chicken Wings, 4 perfectly grilled Chicken Tikka, 2 flavorful Seekh Kebabs, and 4 crispy Fried Fish, accompanied by a generous serving of Chips & Naan. It's a symphony of textures and flavours that promises to tantalize your taste buds from the first bite to the last. And no meal at Desi Karahi is complete without a sweet ending. Indulge your sweet tooth with their delectable Carrot and Ice dessert, I am not sure of the official name but it’s a refreshing and light treat that perfectly balances the richness of the main course. Desi Karahi is a culinary haven where flavour reigns supreme and hospitality knows no bounds. I highly recommend this...
Read moreI recently had the dined at this restaurant and I have to say, the flavours and quality of the food was spot on.
The regular tawah is a delicious dish and was enough food for a small family of four- the flavors are bold and spicy, with tender chicken pieces cooked to perfection.
The service at Desi Karahi is also excellent - the staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to make recommendations or answer any questions. The restaurant itself is clean, cozy, and welcoming, with a great atmosphere.

Read moreHave been eating here for over 18 years. It's still easily the best Indian in Wycombe. Apart from locally I've not eaten any better anywhere in my 46 years. Extremely friendly, pleasant, attentive and customer focused the staff strike a great balance between providing superb service and giving you enough time and space to enjoy your meal out.
We regularly bring friends and family to Elaichi - every one of whom are always impressed. Nice to have somewhere to take people where you can be completely confident that you'll be well looked after and the food will be of the very highest standard.
The music, lighting, decor and table spacing make for a good ambiance.
Can't recommend Sohail and his staff at Elaichi...
