Somewhat quirky and different, this Italian product and local produce “farm shop” come deli has a rather decent cafe. All based in an industrial unit in the countryside, with indoor and outdoor seating. Based on my weekday visit, booking ahead would be beneficial during wet colder months as seating can quickly become limited. The food served is homemade style and very tasty. I would say prices are at higher end of garden centre level but with very friendly high level of service and attention. Food was served hot and definitely freshly made. I was surprised that everything was in paper cups, dishes, plates but I guess is more eco friendly. For me this slightly downgraded my service rating. The coffee was the let down. Considering they sold Wooden Hill coffee beans / grounds in the shop area, either the coffee was made from an automatic machine or the barista needs training as it had little taste and even the Flat White was weak. I would return and recommend, hoping that the coffee served on my visit was an off day or improvement will be made. 4/10 coffee...

Lovely little gem, hidden away in the Bedfordshire countryside. Great to pop in for a drink, snack or meal. Ideal as a stop, or destination, for walkers but equally accessible via a short car drive off the A6. Very welcoming, with totally home-cooked food and a good selection of drinks. The food store has a wide range of ethically-sourced goods and much local produce. Easy parking and wonderful views over fields. Hopefully outdoor seating will be available in the warmer weather too. Well worth a visit.

Update - there is plenty of outdoor seating since my original post. Glorious to sit outside during warm weather. Otherwise, the seating area inside is as welcoming as ever, and the food is still delicious.

Try the English sparkling wine that is sold here if you're looking...

We used the services of Disco-licious to provide the catering for our son’s 30th birthday party, where we catered for 55 people of varying ages, tastes and dietary requirements. From the first meeting, Jo was very professional in dealing with our requirements and provided recommendations for the spread. What was served up far exceeded our expectations – it was just superb.

Jo and Graham laid out the food so it all looked so enticing and all of our guests commented on how good the food was. It was very telling that hardly anything was left over, as everyone kept going back for more during the evening.

We have no hesitation in recommending Disco-licious for providing catering at an event you are planning. You will not be...

Disco-licious at Ion bridge Farm Lower Gravenhurst MK45 4HJ. Good rustic, scenic route. I rode about 22mls but that could easily be extended. First time at this place. Includes a farm shop. Plenty of space inside, with good ceiling height and good outdoor seating with country views. Will definitely go back. I Have been back every week since the above review. I have bumped into several cycling groups. All had no problem securing their cycles to the car park barriers, which is close to the entrance door, while enjoying their refreshments. The cafe provides an intimate community style space. The menu is intentionally small, and always changes daily. Fresh delicious food is always provided.

Another fabulous brunch here today. The food was fresh and delicious, i had the bomber cheese, tomato, marmite toastie and my mum the avo ,bacon and egg on the best sourdough. We always enjoy the food here. The staff are always warm and welcoming. Great location, with open farmland views to the hills beyond, a stable alongside to watch the horses, kites soaring overhead and birds chirping.i even treated myself to some local honey from the well stocked, beautifully displayed farm shop. One of my fav places to go! Keep up the great work Jo and team and thank you.

Staff are lovely always wanting to help. Food in-store is great quality and fresh. Cafe food is lovely most very local you know all is fresh and not mass produced. Menu is changed every day which is lovely so you know you are not getting the same over and over again each day. Lovely new range of sausages. Jo's loaves are lovely. Great selection of new seasons produce. For a small place they really pack a selection in. Great bread from a local supplier. Jo has a great place and is so passionate about food. It's lovely to have places like this.
