Made a £60 order at 18.17, got a text at 18.39 to tell me the food had LEFT the store on its way to me which is only 10 minutes away. By 19.27 I still Hadn't received so rang the store and was told the text is automated and the order actually only left 10 minutes ago and if it wasn't there within 20 mins to call back.. within an extra 7 minutes my son was hysterically crying and I dont blame him for having to wait over an hour for his dinner, especially when we'd had a text an hour ago to say food was on its way. When I call AGAIN and speak to a manager I'm told a completely different story and that my food had left the store 45 minutes ago (not the now 20 mins ago that would be accurate if the first call was truthful) and that is the usual delivery time for orders. Either way someone is lying here which is disgusting when someone is spending their money with your business. The manager then offered compensation and when asked to get that in writing am told they don't have my email even though I received order confirmation to my email.. I would have more respect for honest and the truth than a manager that clearly didn't care and was happy to lie down the phone to me. I am still awaiting the email now. To make matters even worse, we are regular customers, we work in hospitality ourselves so would completely understand but when the food arrived it was lukewarm at best. So order cancelled, thought there was not issue. Couple of hours later no email confirming order was cancelled and a refund would be issued, no refund into my Paypal account.
Called the store to be told I wouldn't get a refund for another week! Wasn't told this in the initial conversation when cancelling. It has to go to head office for approval, really you have to send every request for a refund to head office? No they can't provide me with any confirmation that a refund is being processed, no they can't return my money to my any quicker.
Quite frankly the impression I got was that he didn't care.
Update: funny enough within an hour of posting this review the refund was in my account. So basically the whole call where I was told a refund would need to go to head office and it would take a week...

First, we got charged twice for our order. Told a refund for one of the payments will come through in 3 to 5 days. Still to be confirmed, will have to take their word for it.
Second, we waited 45 minutes to find out that the order was delivered to the wrong address.
Told the order will be remade and back out to us within 20 minutes. After waiting a further 30 minutes, we called through again. Told we need to give them more time to make the order. Thier failure and yet there was no urgency in rectifying the issue, made worse by the fact we were charged twice.
Another hour later and multiple calls later, the order finally showed up....
