Update - Upon Speaking To The Manager Charlotte, We Were Offered A Full Refund Plus Complimentary Meals To Return and Give Them Another Try, I Can Confidently Say that After 2 More Visits This Establishment Is A Lovely Place To Visit,
We Visited For Tea/Dinner And I Had The Chicken Medley From The Non Gluten Containing Menu, All Allergy Guidelines Were Followed and The Food Was Even Flagged As An Allergy Dish, The Food Itself Was Lovely, Good Portion and Enjoyable, My Partner Had The Combo Stack Burger and He Had A Much Better Dining Experience All Round, The Staff Couldn’t Have Been More Helpful,
We Also Visited Today For Dinner/Lunch I Had The Gammon Steaks From The Non Gluten Containing Menu, and My Partner Had A Carvery, My Meal Was Honestly Some Of The Nicest Gammon I’ve Eaten, The Potato It Came With Was Lovely Soft and A Good Size, My Partner Said The Carvery Was An Amazing Meal Also,
We Will Definitely Be Returning and Feel Our Original Visit Was Just Genuinely A Bad Day, And Since We Can Confirm That All Allergy Protocols Have Been Carried Out and All Food Comes Out In A Timely Manner and Is Delicious!
Thank You So Much To Charlotte and The Team For All Your Help and Your Prompt Response In Fixing This Situation For Us!
Original Review:- We Walked In And Upon Being Greeted We Were Seated In A Lovely Quiet Area,
We Looked At The Menu and Decided To Try To Order On The App But It Didnt Work Which Is Noones Fault, However When I Went To The Bar To Order The Staff Member Was Rude, Rolling Her Eyes, Huffing and Just Clearly Didn't Want To Be There, I Ordered and Was Then Questioned How Many People Were Sat At Our Table As If To Say We’d Ordered Too Much For 2 People (We Orders 2 Starters 2 Mains), I Was Asked If I Was “Sure” We Were On A 2 Person Table, I Also Ordered A Strawberry Daiquiri and Was Given A Strawberry Slush With A Shot Of Rum, Went Back To Table And Waited For Our Food,
Upon Receiving Our Starters We Were Happy With The Portion Size and Quality Of The Food, However The Mains Were A Different Story, My Partners Food Came With Tomato On His Burger After We Requested No Tomato On It, Fine We Can Remove, However I Ordered A Gluten Free Chicken Medley With Supposedly Was 2 Chicken Breasts With Cheese and An Italian Napolitano Sauce, I Received Chicken Covered In Breaded Batter, That Was Dripping With Grease, A Small Amount Of Cheese and No Sauce, Which I Couldn’t Eat Due To The...

Read moreVisited Saturday afternoon about 4pm and was very quiet which was a surprise as it's always usually busy, especially at this time. Some tables had been left uncleared and remained so for almost an hour. Dirty cutlery in our table pot and not a kids menu in sight. When we went to order there were a few queuing for Cavery but no cavery chef in sight and no bar staff. Young man at the front of house desk had to go and get the staff from the kitchen. Waited 40 minutes for 3 adult meals and 2 children's despite it being so quiet. My daughters meal was served with chicken wings instead of nuggets but this was rectified quickly and the sever was very apologetic. Food was nice but not hot. Ordered 2 children's brownies but they were unavailable so we had to order adult size for twice the price. 25 minutes after ordering dessert, we were told there was only 1 chocolate cake left so we ordered a brownie ( apparently adult size ones were available but not children's 🤔 ) 10 minutes later our desserts arrived and they are huge 😬😂 In hindsight, we should have just ordered 1 and split it or the kitchen could have cut the brownies in half to provide the children's dessert offered on the menu 🤷♀️ We did mention this to the server and she just shrugged and said they'd been having problems with cake availability all week. After meals at Ten Lock Flight and Queen of Hearts (other local "pub grub" venues in the area) I can honestly say Evenwood Farm has fallen behind in food quality and standards of service this...
