We are staying locally and were delighted to see this pub had reopened. All within walking distance of our cottage. What a lovely Sunday dinner we had. All served in a giant Yorkshire pud. That suited the Yorkshire man in my husband perfectly! Great atmosphere too. The only disappointment was there were no left overs for my dog. It was just too nice! We will definitely go back later in the week.

A lovely little village pub with a great look and decor. The selection of beers is small but they are all very good and excellently served. Staff were lovely and friendly. Food is served which I didn't try but the menu looked good and each week they host a quiz which looked good if you're in the area.

Beautifully refurbished, community owned pub in delightful village alongside the Tweed. Friendly lunchtime welcome from Louise & Keith serving a great pint and toastie. Delightful, unpretentious local pub that deserves to do well.

The accommodation at the Fishers Arms was top notch. A lovely place run by the community. The breakfast was delicious, the folks really friendly and the room was really comfortable. The shower pressure in room one was amazing. I think I could move in for that shower alone! My visit had coincided with the Tuesday night live music sessions and I've uploaded a clip. Really lovely. A convenient location for sightseeing. As it is run by the community, there are sometimes glitches when short staffing lead to no evening food availability, but the team were able to recommend lots of alternatives that were not far at all. A lovely picturesque place to visit - you can tell they have won awards for their gardens, as every corner had amazing...

We stumbled upon this amazing little pub when we were staying on a campsite nearby. We like to pop into local pubs when we are travelling, but the Fishers Arms exceeded not only our expectations, but will clearly warrant as one of the best pubs ever! There was a local blues band playing, The Salmon City Blues Band and the pub was full of locals ... to say we were made welcome is an understatement ... one drink turned into and evening of great food, fantastic warm hospitality, lively music and even dancing! Highly recommend a visit to this super pub if you are...

Lovely community owned pub, locals and staff were very friendly and welcoming. I arrived on a pushbike and they stored it overnight for me which was convenient as it’s right on the Coast and Castles route. The room was very clean and comfortable, I slept like a baby. Oh and the shower pressure was superb, I felt very clean after a much needed shower! The breakfast was very delicious and a good portion. They weren’t serving dinner the evening I stayed due to a staff absence but they told me well in advanced and gave me alternative suggestions....
