The campsite is in a lovely village, walking distance to shops, pubs, restaurants and takeaways.||||Unfortunately our stay was not one we would like to repeat. We arrived at approximately 17.45 having previously told the site that we would not be arriving until after 17.30. Nobody was there to give us any information about the site but we were able to get a selection of codes that may grant access to the toilet facilities for a member of the farm staff.||||The facilities whilst being relatively new and clean are not sufficient for the size of site. It was quiet on our visit with only approximately 10 pitches in use but with only two showers, two female toilets and one male toilet there were many times when a significant wait was a problem.||||The most disappointing thing about out stay was the lack of sanitary washing up facilities. The only place to wash plates etc in a small outside sink. This in itself is not a problem but the sink is also used for people to dispose of chemical toilet waste etc. It was in such a bad state that we decided it would be safer to eat of dirty plates than use the sink provided. The area is made even more repulsive by the leaking septic tank which is intended for the disposal of toilet waste. This had an obvious hole in it which in turn allows sewage and toilet waste to leak all over the floor of the area. The smell is appalling.||||The entire area is filthy and disgusting. I did report this to the cafe as we left the site a day earlier than planned and they appeared to have no knowledge of it. Given the state of the area it had been this way for some time which gives me concerns regarding the level of care and maintenance given to the site as a whole.||||A real shame as the village and the views from the site were lovely and some great walks on...

Read moreGreat coffee, great food, great service. The staff are all great and there seems plenty of them. A decent choice of food whenever we go, the prices are very reasonable and alway of a fantastic quality. The menu seems to cater for us awkward ones (dairy intolerant) and choices for vegetarians. The road there is quite narrow and quite often has pedestrians and cyclists going to and from. Once there Fletchers has plenty of parking. There are walks round the area, and a small camp site. The surrounding area is beautiful, with the hills in the background. There is a few farm animals dotted around, and seem quite tame. There is also a farm shop, which is stocked with all the farm shop usuals and then some gift bits n bobs. If I had to make any sort of criticism, I asked for a well cooked fried egg, which when it turned up, I was runny. I asked for another well cooked egg, and they got it right second time, but arrived towards the end of my breakfast. But that is being rather picky. All in all, we’ve enjoyed Fletchers on a few occasions, and will certainly...
