Flitwick Sandwich Bar — Restaurant in England

I give up with this place I won’t be returning I’ve just not long realised I have been overcharged for my items . It is ‘only’ 25p but are the owners aware that it is illegal to impose any surcharges when paying with card? I can assume this is why I have been overcharged by reading other reviews. My food came to £5.70 but should have been £5.45 I was asked if next time I can pay with cash but I said it depends if I have it with me! I understand about supporting small businesses but to charge people for paying by card?! I wont eat here again. I had a breakfast which I thought was reasonably priced but that obviously reflected in the quality of the food. Everything on the plate apart from the fried egg had been cooked previously and reheated. The Bacon was dry and over cooked and extremely salty, sausages weren’t much better and the mushrooms Were very greasy and weird tasting. The toast was pre buttered before it came to the table and I didn’t like how they make the tea for you instead of having sugar and milk on the tables to make ur tea as you like it, wen I ask for another teabag as I like my tea strong I was I given it but I could see they weren’t happy about it. The owner is the most ridiculous and frankly stupid business person I have ever had the misfortune to meet. We entered her establishment only to be totally ignored, when she had finished chatting to her colleague about the weather, she finally deigned to look my way. One might reasonably expect a “hello “ or perhaps a smile. Nothing doing. She just stared at me and that’s where our relationship ended.
