Classically British, cosy and inviting -
Amongst the growing rampant desire for places wishing to be al la carte, gourmet and above all else a hipster knock off of the latest TV chef trends, this facility brings a surprisingly refreshing and warm reunion to classical environment that many British people were custom to growing up with.
the decor feels inviting and exciting, with throwbacks to the old times by showcasing photographs of the local community and area dating back from the 60s onward to present and designed to refine the classical feel of a British pub, sturdy, strong and warm, it gave off 2 feelings upon entering, reminding me of being a child on my first Saturday outing with the grandparents, or that sense of relief when your abroad and finally come across a familiar presence of British hospitality.
The staff couldn't make you feel anymore welcome, and i mean not just as in staff meets customer, i mean to the extent that upon walking in, within a few moments you felt like a regular and were treated to nothing less than the kindness family member's show one another.
to top this off, the food was something that sparked a refreshing change to the hipster redesigned dishes, this wonderful place not only makes you feel at home, but the food is also that of a homely manner, something that took me back to grandmas cooking after school, simply happy, warm and bountiful amount that always satisfied greatly, it truly does refine classic British pub dining to a fine T.

Having said that we will be back... but we may be having the chicken...and a...
