George and Dragon — Restaurant in England

Pulled in to carpark to meet friends traveling from other direction as agreed to meet here for a meal and catch up then to the lakes after whilst I was a few minutes before them I had someone come out asking if I was waiting for airport telling me I'm on camera and will get a ticket if I'm there for 10 minutes I have learning difficulties and am autistic so communication with someone I don't know and unexpected ain't good for me I said I was waiting and meeting someone here and tried to explain and kept being told I would get a ticket so with me that experience was to much and I wouldn't have enjoyed staying after that so I contacted my friends who was currently coming over the cattle grid just up the road telling them I didn't want to stay here and wanted to go somewhere else I left from carpark as my friends was passing and we ended up going somewhere else for a meal which was a shame as food looked good in pics I have seen but I felt threatened so wouldn't have stayed after that and unfortunately would likely never come back as I hold negative...

We stayed here twice - the night before and the night after a holiday. The location is really helpful if you're using Bristol airport. The room was cosy, and the breakfast packs provided are a nice touch. However, we stayed in the same room both times and it suffers from a terrible drains smell. After our first night, we put it down to a one-off issue that we assumed would be sorted. But when we stayed again two weeks later, the smell was still there. It definitely smells like a sewerage issue and seems to be coming up the plugholes in the en-suite shower room. But it makes the entire bedroom smell too and is really unpleasant. Unfortunately it put us off ever staying here again - despite the good value and helpful location. We didn't try the restaurant so can't...

Overpriced, awful food and terrible service.

I was unfortunate enough to stay here before a flight, we asked if food was still being served as it was 9pm when we arrived and was barked at in response that they were really busy and wait there. Eventually they returned and seated to be told that it would take a while to serve us.

When the food arrived it was tragic, a burger covered in lettuce that had been boiled by the meat, the proportions were totally wrong 80% lettuce and a burger the size of a chicken nugget. My wife had the curry which was swimming in water due to the rice not being drained and don't even get me started on the Aldi flatbread and humous that was served, it was so stale it could be used as a seat.
