Don't bother if in a hurry. It took 15 minutes to get 2 teas and two slices of cake. And there was no queue either. Then I saw it get left on the counter so had to go and get it myself. They are too busy talking instead of serving people. The best part, no one noticed or cared that I had to collect my own tray. Need some decent supervision here.

A great place any time of the day to go for a bite too eat. Great choice of food, caters for everyone. Value for money on food portions especially the roasts on Sundays and the desserts. They have seating outside and on the balcony. There is a lift as seating on the first floor, toilet facilities available.

Not a young family friendly restaurant.

We've used the restaurant for many years and often visited during our visit to the attached store where we have spent considerable money over the years.

On our last visit we took our young children, two of which are less than 18 months. We ordered 3 meals for myself, my wife and older child but provided lunch for the babies that we bought from home. The meals we purchased were bought to our table quickly, were very nice and enjoyed buy the three of us.

Unfortunetly, the babies had dropped some of the floor (dry food) so before we left I started to pick it up and put it in bag to dispose of in the nearest bin, as I was doing this, I was approached by a waitress (I assume supervisor) who told us that we are not allowed to bring our own food and that the next time we come we must order food for all guests from the menu. It was quite embarrising, as she left other dinners expressed their surpise and visabily taken aback as to what was said.

The meals with drinks came close to £40. In addition to the meal, we had also spent money in the store and was planning to go back in to get some shoes for my wife, however after this attitude we decided to leave and take our business elsewhere and haven't returned since.

It's a shame, it wasn't unpolite or unprofessional but I don't think it's required. It's a nice establishment that operates on the side of a retail premisies which many families will visit who would do the same as us. Many of which may be in...

Came for Mother’s Day and I was so shocked. This has been my favourite place to come for breakfast for months. I’ve recommended it to all family and friends but what I received on Mother’s Day was shocking. The staff were more than rude to us. I asked for bacon with pancakes instead of the banana and I was told I couldn’t have that (even though bacon was already being cooked so it would of been easy to put it on top of a pancake). My sister then asked for a sausage sandwich & bacon sandwich for her kids (age 2 & 5) which again, they refused. She had to purchase full breakfasts for them and make the sandwiches herself (the full breakfasts included sausage bacon and toast, therefore could of been done in the kitchen). Small kids couldn’t eat it all so it got thrown in the bin. My pancakes arrived, three tiny stone cold pancakes for Ā£6.00 and after all of this my mums meal was forgotten on Mother’s Day. Unbelievably embarrassing, such a shame that I have visited more than 5 times for breakfast and it’s highly unlikely I’ll...

This place has always served great food. Unfortunately, upon a visit 2 days ago, our food order did not fully meet expectations.

Our order was the hand cut ham, poached eggs and chips. The ham and chips were lovely, but the poached eggs were hard boiled! I complained and new eggs were poached for us. Sadly, these eggs had been undercooked, with runny whites! These were mostly left on the plate as we left.

It is a great pity that a professional cook was unable to get a cooked egg right, but hopefully this will change.

Don’t let me put you off from eating here. I’ve enjoyed the food here many times, the food is of high quality, and good value for money.

A final note. The restaurant can get very noisy, at busy times. I usually visit after 2pm when things...
