Haveli Indian Bromham — Restaurant in England

After a disappointing first experience (original 1* review left below for context) the manager reached out and asked we give them a second chance. I fully believe everyone deserves a second chance and I am so glad I did!!

Genuinely some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten. Excellent portion sizes, beautifully cooked meat and fantastic sauces. This should most definitely be on everyone's "places to eat" list.

My only caveat is that a "two chilli" (moderately hot) dish could probably do with a touch more heat. But this is nit picking. It was delicious!

We had a table booked for 8:30pm and were very excited. We'd heard great things and this would have been a rare meal out as we are new parents.

We arrived at 8:25pm and were told to sit in the waiting room. We weren't shown to our table until 8:50pm. 4 other groups arrived after us yet were seated first.

We arrived at our seats and at 9:00pm our drinks order was taken, we said we were ready to order food but we were asked to wait a minute. Our food order wasn't taken until around 9:10pm.

At 9:40pm I asked someone how long our food would be, the member of staff said our ticket hadn't been sent through to the kitchen and was assured it would be "under 10mins". At 9:55pm there was no food or apology so we left.

My review is based entirely on the service we had which was awful. I can't comment on the food, it looked and smelled delicious but I'm sat at home eating toast...

Another wonderful dinner from the team At Havelli. The food here is second to none. The chefs take such great pride in what they do and all dishes are perfectly balanced and full of flavour. I eat here twice a month if not more and can honestly say I have never had a bad experience. The consistent quality is what keeps me and my partner coming back.

Now, onto the service. From our very first visit, Blassio (I hope I’m spelling this correctly) and Prince have looked after us and made us feel so welcome. They really do care about their customers but not in a transactional manner, it is on a personal basis. These guys really care about people and you can tell they want others to have a great time. I wish they could come and work in my small business but I wouldn’t have the pleasure of enjoying their time when I come to visit them at their establishment. Thank you for always being outstanding. See you in a week or two....

I have been meaning to try this restaurant for months as I always pass by on my way to work in Bournemouth. Well today was the day after spending a tiresome day out at Stonehenge en route back home I stopped off with family.

The owners and hosts were superb from the moment we stepped in. The food was tasty and spiced to our requests of being extra spicy.

Chicken Lollipop was a big hit with the kids as were all the dishes. Garlic chicken was our fav!

I would like to give a special thank you and shout out to the waiter Wilson who looked after us superbly.
