Hepscott Park Garden Cafe — Restaurant in England

What a wonderful place ! I was so, so impressed by this place! It is such a welcoming homey place ran by lovely people and I can't wait to go back again! We got two full English breakfasts with two pots of tea and a fruit shoot and it came in under £19 which is just incredible tbh. You get two sausages (best I've had), two slices of bacon, two large hash browns, large mushroom, black pudding, ton of beans, fried egg, two bits of toast and proper butter. Anywhere else you will be paying an extra fiver for one sausage and one bit of bacon and generally a smaller portion but this was amazing. Feel that this cafe has not maintained its standard from a couple of years ago. Whilst food continues to be adequate in terms of taste and portions are fairly large, with good presentation, the menu appears unimaginative. Prices remain reasonable but not cheap. This business, run by the local authority, serves the laudable purpose of training disadvantaged individuals in catering with the long term aim of subsequent employment, and deserves to be supported on this point alone, but it may be that the council's own guidelines are stifling...

This place is just a 5 min drive from mine, so called in for a quick full English breakfast before heading off to a meeting. Only my 2nd time here, the first being for lunch a few months previously. The service was impeccable and the breakfast was of the highest quality. I’m guessing it was local produce as everything was superb, especially the black pudding and bacon.
