If you're looking for the perfect place to unwind and indulge in some truly scrumptious food, look no further than The Horseshoe Inn. My recent visit to this cozy establishment left me thoroughly impressed, with its exceptional food and top-notch service.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The charming decor and inviting ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable experience. My server, James Gilda, went above and beyond to make sure my evening was nothing short of amazing. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm for his job shone through, making my visit all the more enjoyable.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food. The Horseshow Inn boasts an extensive and diverse menu that caters to a wide range of tastes. But what truly sets it apart is the incredible quality of the dishes. Every bite was an explosion of flavor, expertly crafted by their talented chefs. It was evident that a great deal of care and passion went into each dish, making it an absolute delight to savor.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend The Horseshoe Inn highly enough. Between the delicious food and the phenomenal service from James and the rest of the staff, it's truly a standout establishment that will leave you eager to return. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit – you won't be...

I firmly believe credit where credits due. Popped in on a Wednesday lunch with a mate and our two toddlers. We turned up at 1.5pm assuming (wrongly) they serve food all day and headed to the garden to settle the kids before we were going to head inside and order some food. A friendly woman had clearly spotted us and came out to us in the garden to tell us that they stopped serving at 2pm and she didn't want us to miss out on some food. She was wonderfully friendly and we didn't feel like we were an inconvenience ordering so close to the kitchen shutting. A massive positive in my view. We only order and few plates of chips/nachos and a kids meal but the food came out quickly and was tasty. We were served by another really friendly women. Can honestly say I haven't been made to feel as welcome in a new pub in ages. It's a shame we only popped in as we were passing because otherwise I would be back alot more often. Nice playground for the toddlers...

My wife and I have been visiting The Horseshoe Inn for several years now for both lunches and evening meals and have recommended it to several other people who are now regular visitors too. The food is of excellent quality and the prices are more than competitive. The location, although not far from Congleton, is very rural and makes you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, so to speak. The staff, including owners Mary and Charles, are always friendly and go out of their way to help wherever they can.

I cannot help but make reference to the recently posted abusive tirade purporting to be a review of The Horseshoe. I sincerely hope that any readers will dismiss this "review" for what it is, a dishonest and ill-conceived rant lacking any basic punctuation or grammar, written by someone who appears unable to spell...

We had Canadian relatives staying for a few days. First meal out was 'menu formula food' - ok but far from cheap and not particularly good value. The pub had been fully modernised according to brewery policy, making it just like all other formula pubs in the chain. The external facilities, however, were excellent. Identifying the manager was impossible. The Horseshoe Inn belongs to the same brewery, but was the exact opposite. Our experience was brilliant! Greeted by the most friendly and helpful lady tenant (presumably), who found us a table for 6 in a small pub with great atmosphere! Fabulous home cooked food with ingredients sourced by the landlady and cooked from scratch was presented. The only complaint was the steak, which was a bit overcooked. However, give me a proper pub any time!

The Horseshoe in Astbury is an absolute gem! The food is nothing short of amazing – beautifully cooked, full of flavor, and presented with care. Whether you're enjoying a hearty meal or a lighter option, the quality truly stands out. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a charming rustic vibe that makes it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always ensuring that you feel welcomed and well looked after. It's the ideal place for any occasion, whether you're dining with family, meeting friends, or just looking for a cozy escape with great food. Highly recommended!
