Stumbled upon this gem after Googling Indian restaurants near me while my wife and I were staying at nearby Burcott Mill. Lovely, contemporary and clean environment. They kept their covid safety discreet and waiters were wearing masks. But this did not detract from the excellent service we received, from the amazing professionalism of a friendly and attentive waiter called Dave, who is an absolute legend, to prompt and courteous service from the kitchen and servers. We had the Kings platter for starters which was delicious and plenty full. It could have done with being a bit warmer but we enjoyed it. The mains again were good portions, they were served perfectly heated, and delicious. The nan breads were great! Crispy outside but warm and fluffy in the middle. Great service, great food, lovely decor and atmosphere.

Had takeaway for the first time tonight and we will be going back for sure! The restaurant is clean and comfortable with plenty of outside seating as well, right by a river! The pakora and chicken satay starters were delicious. The poppadom chutnies were really good, a little different to normal! Meat quality is excellent and the sauces had plenty of flavour. Also really enjoyed the fried rice. They do a banquet deal on Wednesday and Sunday evenings which looks like excellent value. Plenty of parking. We had a 20 minute car ride home and food was still hot on getting back.

Visited after day out. Myself and wife went for Wednesday Banquet. The food was absolutely delicious, couldn't fault it. Wife had a different main to me which looked similar to mine but tasted very much different, mine also a lot spicer. Well presented with plenty flavour. Staff were very friendly and regularly checked if all was okay. The property was clean and tidy only suggestion is maybe need to update the carpet as looking little tired. Besides this will be visiting often to try out different meals. Prices also very reasonable for the quality of food.

First impression when arriving is the car park and garden is a bit tatty and untidy. Weeds everywhere and lawn and patio not looked after. When entering, the environment is nice, clean and airy, so looking better. The dining area also very nice looking and bright and clean. The table service was indifferent. I ordered a Kingfisher beer and a Cobra was brought to the table. The food was also disappointing. There are no skills in the kitchen on a Saturday (maybe they have a different cook on other days). The Chicken Tikka starter was dull tasting, and the chicken was pre-cooked before going into the tandoor, so it was dry and tasteless - not tender as juicy as it should be. The main meals were also nice on presentation, however taste was unbalanced and overpowering. The Chicken Tikka Masala was far too sweet, and the Chicken Dhansak was not pleasant at all - like eating a pot of Caribbean pepper sauce (much too hot), and not sweet and sour. The naan...

I order from this place quite often and it’s usually great. The last time I ordered there was a problem with the driver trying to find the address, I thought that was a one off. I ordered again yesterday at 18:05. At 18:56 I called the restaurant to ask where the food is as the tracker said delivered. I was told that they had called me over 15 times and I hadn’t picked up…. Why would I order food and leave you to ring me that many times? The name and number on the system wasn’t even mine, so I definitely had no calls from them. I was then told the driver would ring me, 15 mins later he did, he said he was outside my address, he wasn’t. After talking on the phone for a few mins I went to look for him and he was half way down the town street… so not outside my address like he said. The food was then rubbery and cold. Very disappointed especially because this usually is one of the best Indians I’ve ordered. I doubt I...

Having been here several times, our experiences have always been very good, however this time, we cannot say the same. For the first time, we had to send a starter back, as it was stone cold, frozen, almost. Our waiter seemed clueless when we told him, although the replacement was piping hot. In saying this, this did put the both of us off of our mains slightly, having worries about other food being uncooked. The atmosphere made for a very uncomfortable experience, it felt slightly as though we were being watched, and felt as though we had to talk quietly between ourselves because of this. There wasn’t too many other people in the restaurant and was overall very strange compared to our other experiences here. Our previous waiters had always been extremely accommodating and kind, engaging with us, even offering us complementary dishes. Unfortunately this recent experience left us really...
