More than a Cafe. Worth a Detour. Excellent Value! It may look out of the way unless you are walking or touring the Ingram Valley but we had such good reports that we made a detour from the Wooler road (A697). It was well worth it. Firstly, it is not only a cafe but also a 'gift' shop and a display of local history. It was too cool to sit outside but that looked like a nice option. We only fancied a snack until we saw the daily special - Venison Casserole for only £6.50 - so we stayed for lunch! It came either with bread or in a giant Yorkshire Pudding (see pic). I washed mine down with a proper (4% alcohol) Fentimans Ginger Beer while the girls explored the display and shop.

Lovely cafe, tucked away near church in Ingram, but with plenty of space for cars and outdoor seating. Has picture gallery, yummy cakes, milk shakes and also sells local ice creams. Outdoor picnic type benches 3 in front and 3 at the back in a relaxed spacious sun trap with plants, herbs and flowers for sale. WiFi available but slow. No phone signal. Open after Covid19 shut down (visited 8 July 2020). Toilets available. Can park in front, but cafe also accessible via path if you park in the main stopping area on the 'main road' in Ingram. Cafe itself is otherwise at the end of the dead end road in Ingram, next to the church. Lovely people.

Idilic.yes little bit off the beaten track but so well worth a visit.food is so fresh and very tasty.maybe food is a little above average price but you getting above average food so do the maths it's well worth it as a special treat.area outside cafe perfect for a leisurely stroll or a bracing hike.with snowdrops out at present it is magical The small museum of local history is very interesting and an unexpected little pleasure, accessed via cafe

Ingram Valley is such a beautiful place to visit any time of the year, although it does get busier during the summer months. There are plenty of great walks to suit a variety of abilities, and it is wonderful to have somewhere welcoming to go after a walk. The service is always friendly and efficient, and the food is delicious. The menu has been well thought out to suit a wide range of dietary needs, and the staff are very helpful it you have any questions. The gift shop attached to the cafe is well stocked with locally made goodies, and the small museum area provides fascinating insight it the history of the area. If you go to Ingram, I highly recommend...
