UPDATE: So I did return many years later and guess what! Whilst in the queue I saw the exact same nose blowing, blue roll pocketed and hands unwashed all whilst chatting with a customer about how unwell she was starting to feel. I walked out! So off putting! 🤢🤮 ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've been going to this place for ages. Hard working staff and good value tasty food. However my experience today has likely put me off forever. After putting my sandwich fillings in the microwave my server blew her nose and put the blue roll in her pocket. She then headed back to the microwave to complete my sandwich. I could not just stand there and have her touch my food so I said, "excuse me, I'm sorry to be fussy but are you going to wash your hands now you've blown your nose?" Her response was " Oh yes, sure," and off she went to wash her hands. She then finished my sandwich, slapped it on the counter with a rude "there you go," and no eye contact or apology. No need. I observed other more senior staff members roll their eyes and offer no support either way but it was hard to tell whether their exasperation was at me or the server. Training...

My son and Daughter in Law bought me afternoon tea for Mothers Day 2021 which we have eaten this afternoon. There was plenty of food, did three of us in the house, everything was so fresh fresh fresh, and beautifully packed up for delivery. The savouries were delicious and the cakes scrummy, particularly the creamy fudge cake which was as light as a feather and beautiful. Well done Jacq's we will be coming...

Delicious food great friendly staff. Fab down to earth prices. Highly recommended 😋 especially the breakfast baps.. and the Cornish pasties....perfection every time 😋

They even offer a free local delivery on all orders over £20. Superb if you fancy a pre dinnertime or afternoon treat like Cream Tea...
