KFC Raunds - Warth Park — Restaurant in England

Wednesday night, I went here. It wasn't busy at all. I went to the till where a lady was working behind she then moved from the till and started getting the person's food ready that was there before me. I waited.... and waited.... to be served, but the lady pottered about walking up and down the counter, knowing I was there, so I attempted to get her attention as she walked past me again, and between the tills was a piece of paper saying to use the self serve kiosk. Order placed. I now waited for the food to get prepared, and with the quietest voice and a poorly spoken repeat of my order was read out. As I couldn't make out what was said, I asked the lady if this was my order number, repeating my number to her. She looked at me confused and pushed the food towards me. Opened up my zinger tower burger, straightened it all up, and put the salad actually in under the bun. There was just a splodge of sauce in the middle on the top bun, so apart from a mouthful in the middle of the burger, there was no sauce. The cheese slice that was directly on top of the chicken wasn't melted, not even a little bit. I felt the chicken it was cold, and so was the wife's. We couldn't understand why it wasn't busy. There were 2 people that had just been served their food us and 2 adults and 2 children after us. I took the burgers up to the counter and said that they were both cold. I had to repeat this a couple of times to the lady as she didn't understand me when a chap from around the back came and asked what was wrong, so I explained they were cold. He said, "Are you sure? .... Cold?" So I showed him the un melted cheese slice I lifted off of the chicken in one piece. They did replace both of the burgers, and they were both hot. I guess that's why it isn't busy in there. It wasn't a great experience. The auto / disabled door didn't work, which is an issue. The aircon blower had a continuous squeak and whining. One out of the two ladies' loo's was not working possibly for a while looking at it. The hand sanitiser dispenser was empty. There were no napkins. Some did get put out, but after everyone received their food and had sat down. I think it's a very poorly managed and maintained place with staff only just barely competent to carry out the basic tasks...

I live in raunds, and this kfc let's down all the takeouts in the entire town (and we have a few) today's experience: drove up to the window and the lady asks me to wait a while, so I did. 10 mins pass and 6 cars queue behind me. When the woman returns he mic doesn't work and I can't hear a word she is saying so eventually I give up and drive around to the window where I find another 5 cars stacked up with what I assume is the same issue I have had. 15 mins pass and when I get to the window I am faced with what can only be described as the most misrable human being I've ever seen, she is clearly not interested in her job or proving any type of customer service, she asks me to pay for items I've not even had a chance to order yet, I tell her I've not ordered and she asks me what I want. I make my order and then she just walks off, for a good 10 mins after shutting the window. Upon her return 10 mins later, she just hands me the food and again shuts the window.

Thing is, this isn't the first time this has happened at this location. My family have kfc often and everywhere else seems to just get it right, it's just this location which is typical as its the closest one to my house.

The technology at this location needs to be sorted and the staff either need to be replaced or retrained. I can't imagine what type of manager allows their staff to act like rude soulless drones...

First impression was the layout was appalling, but the food is the important bit.

1st attempt ordered a wkd variety bucket got home and it was just 8pieces of chicken, no hot wings or mini fillets.(Nice chicken though) Zinger tower burger was nice aswell. I thought to myself maybe i just got the wrong bucket it can happen so ill go again next week.

2nd attempt things went downhill fast. Same order as last week and they got it all correct, after a 15min wait as the chicken was just going in so i thought result it will be fresh and juicy. I was wrong, chicken was overcooked and dry, the hot wings were inedible, tower burger had no zinger sauce or hash brown in it, my partners big daddy box meal had no hash brown in the burger either. I ordered 4 mini fillets and got 4 mini fillet burgers, cooked nicely just a shame i didn't order them. Do they still give out them little wipes as ive not had any of them either.

Think we will drive the extra 10miles untill the teething problems...
