KFC Redcar - Roseberry Road — Restaurant in England

Hadn't had a KFC in a long time so for a change thought we'd give it a go. Ordered online ready for collection, amazed at how expensive it was. Alarm in my head started ringing the minute I walked into the store, food, rubbish and sweets covered the shop restaurant floor, no customers to be seen so wondered why this hadn't been cleaned up. So first impressions not good hopefully food better, collection was pretty quick so that was good but that's where the positives end.

Once home the food didn't look good, the burger had no sauce or mayo on whatsoever just a sad looking chicken burger with a little lettuce on it, chips were all bad, we ordered large but only got regular, the chicken pieces were horrid, slimy and inedible, no sauces, serviettes, salts or anything were provided and for a total of £20 you just felt robbed, portion sizes were unbelievably small for the price

I wish I'd read the other reviews before ordering as they all say pretty much the same thing.

Overall for the price you pay it's just not worth ordering from here, £20 for two meals and at the quality of the food just isn't great value. Seems to have gone downhill so much from the last time I'd had a KFC. The one star is for the quick collection but to be fair there wasn't really anything to be collected.

Unexpected experience from a world recognised restaurant. Placed an order on Just eat at 4pm. Food not delivered till 5pm. Chat with them and they told they can't deliver to my address. Just 2 minutes drive from my address. If they can't deliver why they accept my order? OK fine. I went to the restaurant and the person on the till told me he can't take the order, have to wait 25 minutes because they are busy. I waited nearly 20 minutes at that time a lady came and the person on the till took that lady's order. I asked him 'you told me to wait. But you took the order from the lady just came in'. He never apologise, straight away he said very rudely tell me my order. WHAT KIND OF A CUSTOMER SERVICE. I never expect this from KFC. I am an ex employee of KFC but I never treet anyone like this in my career. May be Iam an Asian and my skin colour is the problem to the cashier on the till. The worst KFC I have ever visited. It wasn't busy and there was food all over the floor, tables a mess, sauce splatters up the wall. It was disgusting. We ordered at the counter and the girl couldn't work out £3.01 change and still ended up short changing us. I asked her if I could have something to wipe the tables. She said she would come and do it. Nobody came. I had to use wet toilet tissue to clean the tables so my kids could eat there food. Finally got the food, it came on a dirty tray, there was no paper plates, sauces, wipes, napkins or plastic cutlery. Nobody came out behind the counter to clear tables and floor the whole time we were there. Ordered some ice creams and krushems after.
