Kimel Café is a true hidden gem in Wokingham. It may be a small space, but it’s filled with big hearts and an atmosphere of warmth and kindness. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed. They serve excellent coffee and the most delicious freshly home-baked cakes – you can really taste the love and care that goes into everything. Between my children and me we have enjoyed toasted sandwiches, some of the best coffee I've ever tasted, even better (judging by my daughter's reaction!) hot chocolate, great quality ice cream etc. And seriously good prices too!
I'll happily recommend the venue to anybody and everybody, because in terms of the quality of experience it really is more than worth the extra few minutes to get there compared with anywhere in the town centre.
And all that's even before considering the life-changing benefits to the wonderfully friendly autistic staff who gain so much from the opportunity to gain valuable experience, confidence and life skills working there and serving us all.
