We went here not long after opening time. It is very popular. It was full by the time we left, but with plenty of spaces left to sit outside. We both had bacon and black pudding baps with coffees. The coffee was one of the best that I’ve had in two weeks in Shropshire and the baps were amazing! The addition of the little salad is a genius touch, which adds a delightful freshness. I’ll be doing this when I make my own at home in the future!

Very decent little café! A good offering of pub-style food, including a breakfast menu served until around midday, and then a lunch menu (burgers, chips, hotdog, sandwiches, salads, jacket potatoes, all day breakfast etc.), very well executed. Coffee and sweet options too. A tad pricey, but nothing too extreme! Exceptionally scenic at Whittington castle. Adequate nearby parking

Really enjoyed our time at the Castle,it was warm, good atmosphere, great for dogwalkers and the service was excellent. We had coffees and cake but the afternoon tea looked really nice too, they do good hot food aswell.£2 for the carpark is reasonable with nice walks around the castle and the moat.Toilets are in a portaloo which is not great .

Stopped here for lunch on our way home after a couple of days away. Normally places like this do pretty ok food, but wow this place was genuinely restaurant quality. My son said it was the best burger he’s ever eaten and coming from a 14 year old that’s very high praise 😂. We tried a lot of different things between the family and not one thing disappointed. Really lovely staff and made our dog feel very welcome also. Just wish I lived closer...
