Read moreThis is a review of the Christmas English meal on Christmas Day. All previous Indian take outs have been good. We booked a table for 4 people Christmas Day, the atmosphere was loud and rowdy, we were seated in the bar area sadly, next to a loud speaker blasting Christmas music so loud we couldn’t talk to each other. The starter even though booked and paid a month earlier took 45 minutes to come out, salmon parcels apparently, which were a bit of salmon rolled around a few prawns and a piece of bread. Before the starters came out the servers came to us 3 times asking if we were ready for our mains… we were still waiting for starters!. The main came 40 minutes after the starters (1.5 hours wait in total), where can I start, it was nearly cold, and looked like a few leftovers, the sprouts fell apart on touching them (totally over cooked), a cold lump of mash, a single rock hard potato, a single hard parsnip, mostly dry… just horrible. The atmosphere was poor, sat next to the bar area with people shouting. We asked for the pudding (of the three course) to take away so we could leave asap! The server/manager said “I don’t blame you”, the puddings were supposed to be Christmas pudding with brandy sauce, I’ve added a picture below of the desert we were given! A total joke and waste of money, the service as a whole was unorganised madness, with no food cooking and presentation capability. Sad for a...
Read morePaid £160 for a Christmas Day meal..what a disappointment. The place was disorganised, staff had no idea what was going on. It took 45 minutes for our cold starters to arrive, then a further 40 minutes for our luke warm roast turkey dinner to arrive. Poor to say the least. The local animal shelter were serving more appetising meals to their dogs. 8 sprouts 1 roast potato and some mashed carrots. Didn’t even stay for dessert it was that bad, got that to takeaway. Shocked when we opened it, a dry slither of Christmas pudding. Didn’t even get brandy sauce. Chucked it straight in the bin. Absolutely appalling by the food. Feel robbed they’ve taken my hard earned cash. Definitely won’t be coming again or recommending. As a business you should be ashamed the food was an...
