Little Italy in Leadgate — Restaurant in England

Booked for 6.30 p.m. last Saturday. Drinks and orders sorted around 6.40. Table in a draught as opposite open back door. A few parties with children in as it was early. Not much atmosphere. Young man who took order very pleasant. Someone else came 10 mins later to take our order which we said was already taken. Were told at 7.10 the order for Pollo E king prawns not available so another Seabass was ordered making 3. Food served at 7.30p.m. The black linguine one of our guests had ordered had no king or tiger prawns. The seabass fillet was very small with one new potato cut in half and 4 cherry tomatos though the sauce was tasty. We had finished our meal in 15 minutes. When asked how it was our guest said disappointing as it was not the meal ordered. Other than a "Sorry" no suggestion or offer of bill reduction. Will not be back but suggest vegetables and potatos served with mains, customer service course and better communication between staff/kitchen. Bit of a strange place, no atmosphere inside as it’s essentially just a square room. Dance music was playing over the speakers when we visited.

There was a black cat running around the dining area and rubbing itself against customers, not ideal as I dislike cats but god help you if you’re allergic.

Food order was taken promptly and at £9.99 for 3 courses you can’t really go wrong. I ordered potato skin starters, carbonara main with a side portion of chips and the third course was a coffee afterwards.

Food took a while to arrive and the chips had been forgotten about and they came around 3/4 of the way through me slowly eating the main course.

Ordered through just eat. Order was taken at 7:30pm and confirmed a few minutes later. Order was due at 8:15pm but didn’t show up until 9:10pm after we had called to ask where it was and didn’t get a straight answer. Called 3 times and owner was incredibly rude. By the time the food had arrived we had already had to make alternative arrangements. Restaurant is refusing to give us our money back as requested via Just Eat app. As Just Eat has zero customer service I guess this restaurant is keeping our hard earned money. Will never use these people again. Complete scam artists. Avoid Avoid Avoid! £20.69 down the drain. No future...
