They put on a great ‘spread’ for my brother in laws wake… so much so that the staff thought that they could tuck in as well by loading their plates and head back to the kitchen! This included the manager. When confronted, she explained that her staff hadn’t eaten since earlier this morning as if that was a justification of them just helping themselves! I have never been so appalled by a lack of decency or professionalism and was completely disgusted by their conduct. I was tempted to ask if they would also like a drink to go with their food on us as well!! Seriously not happy and felt they took complete advantage of my sister at an extremely vulnerable time. Discussed and will never use again!!...

Parking on site, friendly place, warm welcome. It's a bit dated but has character, was fairly quiet but reccomend booking a table as people were being turned away.

We wanted a Sunday roast and going on reviews visited for this but after arrival were told the roast finished at 3pm so were a bit disappointed.

Complimentary breads and coleslaw were nice, the mains were hit and miss, I had chicken in mushroom sauce but the chicken was grilled and crispy so didn't go well, it wasn't that nice. Other mains seemed OK. Desserts were nice.

Staying just along the road from the bar restaurant waiting outside for it to open So we could get take away food The owner let us in and let us have a drink while we were waiting for our order

It's a good bar it's got a lovely big fire we were sitting waiting beside it Heating up as it was a bit cold outside

The bar is only open Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday it was when we were staying just along from it And it's open from 6:30 pm until 12

The food that we got was really good well the plates that the food was on was empty so I'm guessing that they had enjoyed it
