21/5/23 Wow! What an amazing place to watch football, especially in the sunshine. Maidenhead Rangers 1-5 Lane End FC in the Division 1 Cup Final of the High Wycombe Sunday Football Combination. It’s not far from town centre. The car parks are small especially the top one which did have disability parking. I got there early so latecomers had parked all along the track leading down into the lower car park. The clubhouse is amazing, everything needed is here. Decent prices for drinks. There is no hard standing around the pitch, just all grass. The views from the clubhouse are excellent if you can grab a seat. There is an elevated bit behind the dugouts which give you a superb view of the pitch. The views of the Wycombe countryside from here are breathtaking. We celebrated our twin daughters' 18th here and were incredibly impressed. From the start, Greg offered sensible advice, drawing on his wealth of experience, radiating a calm confidence so we could relax. He had listened to how we wanted the evening to go, so when we arrived before the party the tables were set out how we needed them, which was very helpful. The twinkly lights in the main room are beautiful and mean that minimal decorations are required. Everyone there was fantastic, from the venue-recommended DJ - who read the room brilliantly and had them dancing all night! - to security, who were great, dealing kindly and respectfully with everyone while commanding respect from the teens. We had our wedding here at this beautiful venue on Friday 8th August, and it was set outside. This venue was absolutely perfect for a lovely summers day wedding, but if the rain came down it would still be an amazing venue, we loved the layout and the views across the valley.
