The tearooms is part of a very interesting house & gardens (Hergest Croft). They make a very pleasant surroundings for taking a break. There is no charge for parking to visit the tearooms. Service is quick & friendly & the food is delicious. There is a vegan option and a gluten free option for breakfast which is served until 12pm. The tearooms are dog friendly. There is a small gift shop in the tearooms entrance selling some lovely gifts and also there are plants for sale.

Very lovely staff who made lunch for us shortly before closing time. We even had a room to ourselves for a little birthday celebration. Enjoyed toasties, scones (vegan and gluten free!), cakes, teas and coffees, hot chocolate, chocolate milkshake. Everything fresh, handmade, tasty. Always enjoy visiting here. We have been waiting to visit here for around a year so jumped at the chance to go today for the annual plant fair. Staff are rude, unorganised, most of the food gone, with no seating areas for disabled people and no access for disabled people. So we had to pay £8.50 to go into the fair to then leave 10 minutes later. Whole experience was a nightmare people should be made aware of no.access before coming and if foods have ran out with no seating. Also staff need to learn to speak to people better

REPLY: I find the comments about me being aggressive extremely amusing considering I was not the person who went into the tea room my father did so that is a false accusation, so please get your information right before accussing me of being aggressive ! By your response clearly we are not the only people complaining. As for the seats we circled around twice for no seats and as stated there was no mention of narrow paths and steps to which are not wheelchair accessible. Your staff need to learn basic customer service no sorry we haven't got that in stock. Instead we had a "well we...

We have been on holidays staying near Kington and found this little gem of a Tea Room. Our first visit was Wednesday for lunch and it was very busy and the staff were working very hard. We were not disappointed as I had a warm goats cheese salad and my partner had the best Quiche ever and because of this we went back on Thursday and Friday.. Unfortunately we are packing to go home today but will be back next year. We went around the gardens what an amazing place. The only reason I gave 3 starts for atmosphere was a grumbling old man kept complaining loudly having to wait for food. We were so pleased...

We called here last week and enjoyed a scone with jam and cream. We were given a table near the window, which gave us a lovely view of the gardens. What impressed me was that the large scone had been warmed up beforehand; this isn't done at many establishments that I've been to. It tasted delicious! The elegant pot of tea served about 4 cups or more tea. The person who served us was helpful and very pleasant. We will certainly visit again and perhaps visit the lovely...
