Midas Coffee Lounge — Restaurant in England

We visited the children’s play park here and decided to get coffees and food to support them in light of the recent criminal damage to the premises. The park itself is great, the service, manner and availability of food is poor. We waited absolutely ages to be served, even with two staff there. The lady had little idea of how to use the till, there was a sign out saying reduced food was available so there was literally next to nothing available. In that note we just had to get drinks.

The young man making our drinks was painfully slow, for perspective it took 25 mins to order and get three coffees! They were not friendly or welcoming, and we actually regret trying to support them in troubling times. The coffee was also very expensive, the lady appeared to not have knowledge of the till and I’m certain we paid over the odds compared to the prices advertised on the board. At that point though it took so long we just wanted to get out.
