We stopped at Little Moreton Hall en route to Scotalnd. We arrived early afternoon so decided to try the tea room. I am gluten intolerant so used to having little or no choice of food. I was very pleasantly surprised to realise that a lot on the menu was available with gf option, including scones, all without pre booking. My husband had a mini cream tea with coffee, I had tomato and red pepper soup with a very large glutenfree roll and a pot of very good tea.
