Called here with our dogs as it looked a pretty village and to stretch the dogs legs a little. Had a cup of tea at the village store which came out quickly and the owners/staff were friendly. A few tables and chairs outside which was nice to sit down. Couldn’t get to park on the road side as spots were taken up but then found a convenient pay and display just down from the store across the bridge. We walked starting from Keld and we weren't disappointed by either the beautiful walk or the tearoom.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming and the food was both plentiful and delicious particularly the Yorkshire rarebit and the fruit cake with local cheese.
You will be spoilt for choice with their cake selection & the menu has something for everyone.
Icing on the cake was a pot of "proper" tea served in a proper tea cup, very welcome interlude to our walk....
