After being recommended to make a reservation here we definitely were not disappointed, Hugh is amazing at what he does, and his passion for food and hosting really shows in his work. Every single one of the eight courses was a flavour sensation, we were provided Tupperware to take any leftovers away with us which we did gladly (there was a lot of food!). It was great that we could bring our dog with us as well (she particularly enjoyed the beef we took home with us)
Two other couples sat at the table for dinner with us, and there is something about the set up here that just eased everyone and made the whole evening enjoyable and casual, everyone was chatting and enjoying great food.
If you are considering booking the Off Grid Gourmet, all I can say is do it and get booked in now, the food and evening you will have will almost certainly be a highlight of your trip to this beautiful part...

Rib of beef, the most incredible artichoke and truffle tart, massive chunks of cheese, it was such a lovely surprise to not know what was going to be put down on the table. You share dishes with others on the table, it was lovely to talk to everyone.
