Lovely bar and restaurant set in the grounds of Ord House Country Park, a caravan and camping site in Berwick-upon-Tweed. The staff are really friendly, the service is efficient and there is a good range of drinks at the bar. The food menu has something for everyone - a range of delicious burgers, pub classics, lighter bites such as ciabattas and jacket potatoes and good options for the kids. I tried the Mexican Burger, which I would definitely recommend! Comes complete with homemade chips, two giant onion rings, creamy coleslaw and a side salad. Prices are very reasonable - I was able to feed me, my wife and kids for under £35 including drinks. You can pay by card, although my American Express card wasn't accepted. There is a great indoor soft play area for the little ones, completely free of charge. Older kids can enjoy the outdoor play area and they also have mini golf. I was pleasantly surprised to find a pool table too! I would definitely recommend this place and hope to go back soon, though it's quite a trek from where I live. This is now on my list of places to visit whenever I'm in the area.

We had dinner a few times during our stay and found the prices reasonable and the food of good quality. The steak and mushroom pie was particularly good. We sat in the adult only section which is in the old house and sympathetically renovated. The other side offers family dining and is far livelier but not to my personal taste not having children. Digs are not allowed in which for me is the only drawback.

Beautiful place, very clean and great food and soft play to entertain little ones. Menu is well priced, we came here for lunch. Would go back in a heartbeat, hands down my favourite place I have been around the scottish borders. There's an adults only bar too, if that's what you are after. Good selection of vegetarian options, and the chips were just like chippy chips.. You won't be disappointed!

We tried this place at the start of our holiday and gulped as we walking in with three hooligan kids! We were throughly impressed. The staff we lovely! And I mean lovely. That proper northern hospitality where you almost feel like you are at home. I felt extremely comfortable. Got a table looked at the menu. Id say theres not a huge offering but the food they do is brilliant. I got the flat bread salt and pepper chicken and it was fantastic. Proper cooked onion rings. Half garlic bread baguette was lovely. Kids has a great burger. Overall a fantastic place. We even came back at the end of our holiday to finish on a high and food id say was even better the second. Oh and chocolate fudge cake was to die for. They have a soft play for under 8s which was a bit rubbish as one of my sons is 10 so he was disappointed. However they do have an outdoor park which is great. But does say to keep kids supervised. Again a lovely place where you think its going to be very snobby as it looks so grand but it was down to earth and delightful. 100% should be on...

I saw this nice place and thought i would take the wife and older kids(16 +) for a nice meal, after 40 minutes waiting for the food one woman complained about waiting for food before we got ours, it finally came, to my disappointment the plates were cold the steak was cold within 5 minutes, the hunters chicken had no bbq sauce under the cheese at no point did anyone come over to ask if the food was ok I looked over at the cooking area and noticed the chef was only young as was the rest of the staff except an older lady behind the bar who could be more attentive to the bell for service rather than talking and hiding away from eyes view or hearing of the service bell. stop having a "that will do attitude" and make this place work better than it is.I won't be back....also staff should not have their dinners in front of customers there should be a staff room and stagger the breaks so they don't have to get up and serve customers at the bar then go back...
