Oscar Cafe Bistro — Restaurant in England

I found this bistro by accident. Cosy interior, clean. We came here for coffee, but seeing the rich and interesting menu made us hungry. Unfortunately, the grill that day was broken. Nevertheless, we ordered food. And that was our biggest mistake. Draft beer turned out to be beer from a bottle that tastes like draft. Unfortunately warm, but as a consolation I got a glass with ice... 😅 I was asked about cheese for spaghetti. I thought of parmesan. What was my surprise when something that looked like lasagna was placed in front of my nose. I think to myself ok, I'll try it. The spaghetti tasted like canned. All heated up in the microwave. My partner ordered a Jack potatoes. He stated that this dish could not be spoiled. And here he was very badly mistaken. By the time we paid the bill, no one was interested in whether everything was ok, and when we wanted to call the staff it seemed that they were more busy setting up the music than serving the customers, of whom they didn't have many. So we had really bad experience going into this cafe shop. We order the breakfast and was waiting for it but we waited for so long for an hour. Even the people who came after us were served. Brilliant place to go for wonderful food,service and atmosphere. Always greeted with a friendly smile from the staff. We try and go at least once a week,such a relaxing ,clean environment. On a visit back in August i was truly spoilt for my birthday staff were so kind and it was so unexpected. Always a pleasure to see owners mum who often gives us a hug and a warm smile on arrival.
