We placed an order on your website at 7:02pm and the branch accepted with delivery between 50mins to an hour. This was fine with us as we wanted our delivery just after iftaar time .
yesterday evening iftaar time was 7:54pm we allowed until 8:10pm for delivery and no sign of the driver or anything to let us know that there was going to be additional delays! I called the branch and spoke to Abhishek to our horror he had said our order wasn’t even cooked nor could he get our food out to us for another 30mins , his attitude was disgraceful and he just couldn’t provide a reasonable explanation as to why our order placed over an hour now was still not cooked, we were applaud by his attitude as we hadn’t eaten all day and was really looking forward to our meal from Phatbuns . My husband at this stage was naturally frustrated and hungry and we drove to the store and had to ensure the staff made our food immediately and we collected this in person .
If the store were unable to deliver our order a simple phone call to advise us to collect it would have help resolve the situation but there was no communication was to ever from them!
We have paid a lot of money for our meal last night and we clearly did not enjoy it after this fiasco! I would like to know what you are willing to do about this as we clearly paid for a service we did not received which is totally unacceptable!
I await for a swift response with a positive outcome unless you leave me no choice but to make this incident known through social media which am sure may have a negative impact. I have written to them on Sunday 10/04/22 still...
Read moreHaven't used Phat Buns for a few years and thought we'd try them out again after so many other disappointing takeaway away establishments these days. Decided to push the boat out and go for the what's new menu and settled for the Premium Brisket Burger weighing in at £15 and the Philly Cheese steak meal for £16.50(+£1.50 for the lemon pepper shake on the chips). My partner went for the brisket only to receiver the flatist, soggyist, over sauced and underwhelming waste of £15, the meat was very nice once removed from the falling apart bun and 90% of the gallon of sauce and "slaw". The Philly CS was my purchase, got more for the money with this one - £16.50 for a loaded baguette, handful of chips and the best looking can of drink I've seen in a long time: the Phat Blue Razz (tasted great as well). The PCS's meat was very nice and the cheese started off well but after discovering I also fell to the sword of the over enthusiastic sauce guy I barely made it halfway through before starting to full very full on a truck load of melted cheese. The chips were as expected cold, would of been nice when fresh, shame about the literal dusting of £1.50 lemon pepper which probably cost them a couple of pence. Needless to say we will pass on any future purchases...

-The phone line needs improving in both shops and also they take ages to answer. on the menu the burger is 6.50 and the person on the phone is mentioning 7. I thought it was on his own and just found out in the shop that i could add chips for the same price. I asked them if they could give me a portion of chips but the guy couldnt bother and i told him why he didnt mention when i ordered and he said he did (but he didnt). Comms problem and lack of training from management. no menus to take home and told me to check online. I mentioned their prices are wrong but then again the guy couldnt be bothered. Also waited around 5 min on the counter for someone to come. They were too busy either cleaning or something else. burger wise there are better places with better service and value...
