A very peaceful place to stop off good food and meet kind people. Can’t recommend this place enough, wish I could give it 10 stars. delicious food, but what makes it extra special is the atmosphere, it was such a calm and relaxed place with the most lovely community feel to it. Lovely chose of food and cakes. Wish I lived closer.

Excellent food and service. Very reasonable pricing. Free WiFi too. Great to stop at mid walk or if you are doing a circular walk from the village. We will certainly call again when in the area.

Called in after walking up Dufton Pike to the gate. It was busy, but the ladies who run it were very friendly and welcoming. Service was quick and the food was excellent. We had our dog with us and they made a big fuss of him giving him treats. Would highly recommend visiting if you are up this way. We are definitely going to...

I was taking part in the Spine race and they stayed open late to serve me the best Cheeseburger I've ever eaten before going over Cross Fell. They were so lovely, they even gave me a home made flapjack as I left and I eat that when I got to the top of Cross Fell, to celebrate getting up there, even if was blowing a hoolie!...

This is a lovely little cafe. I was very fortunate to get in before they closed after being open for hours catering for the Spine Race. Such an amazing fry up they provided too with coffee orange juice and flapjack for a reasonable price. It was beautiful and just what I need to fuel me up in readiness for Crossfell. Thanks...
