Visited this lovely country pub several times whilst we were staying in the area and would definitely recommend it. We plan to return again in the summer as we loved it so much. The landlady was really friendly and accommodating and dogs were welcome, so we took our little dog with us who got spoilt with dog treats on the bar whilst we warmed up in front of the lovely fire in the log burner in the hearth. We did not have a booking but they were very accomodating. The bar was busy which gave the place a lively and friendly atmosphere, clearly a popular pub with the locals. Also features a nice beer garden out back.
