Fantastic Experience at The Queens Head yet again.
I had the pleasure of staying and dining at The Queens Head in Kettlesing again over the weekend just gone and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere from Louise stood out. The pub has a charming, rustic feel with a perfect blend of traditional and modern décor.
The menu offered a great variety of delicious, home-cooked dishes. I opted for the fish & chips one night and the Sunday roast on the last night, and it was exceptional—perfectly cooked meat, generous portions, and all the trimmings you could want. The locally sourced ingredients really shone through in both flavor and freshness. Their dessert menu is equally impressive, but I had to give this a miss.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive without being overbearing, making sure our experience was relaxed and enjoyable. The service was efficient, and we never felt rushed, even though the pub was quite busy.
The double act of Louise & Megan works really well and you can tell they’re passionate about that place.
Overall, The Queens Head is a hidden gem in the heart of the countryside, offering high-quality food, a lovely atmosphere, and excellent service. I highly recommend it whether you’re passing through or looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a meal. I’ll definitely be...

A small pot chutney a few half cherry tomatoes couple of slices of peppers that’s yer lot. I knew instantly that I’d dropped a clanger booking at the Queens Head but hoped the main course would rescue the experience, sadly not.|My steak n Ale pie , the filling was very nice but who assumes I want the gravy already poured over my pie making the pastry soggy before it even got to my table. Two roast potatoes some boring boiled broccoli and carrots and mash potato it just fell apart it was that dry!|My partner had salmon which was so dry she didn’t eat it all accompanied by the same uninspiring vegetables I had.|The food lacks presentation/ the wow factor and to add insult to injury is in my opinion way over priced for what you get compared to many other places I’ve eaten.||Realistically I can cook better at home and wish to goodness I had .|I will not ever return to the...
