Me and my Dyslexic friend visited here with a view to having something to eat. My friend cannot read and asked the lady what one of the customers was eating. Her response was to tell him to read the menu several times in the end my friend in his embarrassment had to leave after a few choice words. He could not read the menu and was not in a position to tell the woman behind the till this detail. Upon realising that she had made a mistake we were hasseld in the street outside by the owner wanting an explanation and a apology for his out burst. There was no customer service what so ever and I would no recommend this cafe to anybody...

A great tearoom! The food is delicious. There is different food variety and drinks available.

Great services was provided to us. Very professional, friendly and helpful.

You can eat inside/outside. Or to take away.

Lots of seating available inside of the Ravenscar tearoom.

Also benches are located outside, on the grass patch. Two benches are located outside the entrance to Ravenscar tearoom.

A great place to stop at whether you are biking/walking the cinder track. Walking around the area or driving.

I would definitely recommend Ravenscar tearoom to anyone and everyone. I will definitely be going back in the...

OMG what a wonderful reception we received having walked 10 miles along the Cinder Track from Scarborough we were left in a situation of missing the bus back to Scarborough. The staff were quick to help us. They took the time to write down bus times for us from Robin hood's bay and was advised on the time it would likely take to walk there. We ended up walking 18 miles this day and we caught the bus on time. We had caramel shortbread with a plentiful pot if tea. The toilets were immaculate and I would never hesitate on returning to this beautiful establishment...

Stopped off here at lunchtime midway through a pleasant 30 mile ride in the local countryside. The service was lovely and welcoming, and the food - mostly home made - was incredible. I had cheese scones and millionaire shortbread, and the scones in particular were huge, warm and delicious. My friends had a toastie oozing cheese and beans, and a full, meaty pie, plus lemon and poppyseed cake. We each went back for seconds, the food was that good, and it took some going detting us back on our bikes. Would highly recommend a visit!

Great little tearoom cafe - reasonably priced with a decent menu. I had a full English breakfast with 2 butchers sausages, 2 bacon, egg, tomatoes mushrooms, toast and a pot of Yorkshire tea for £13 which I think is excellent value for money and a very good quality breakfast The lady that owns the tea room is very welcoming and friendly and also very helpful about the local area. I've already ordered a cream scone for lunch which I'll come back for later today. highly recommended 🙌
