There is a great walk from St Mawes to St Just in Roseland and after seeing the prettiest church in England, you may want a cream tea. Well, step up Renwicks. Indoor and lots of outdoor seating. You'll find cakes, salads, cream teas and snacks. Just what you need halfway round the walk. Currently, it is next to a small building site, which you just ignore (the church is building an Interpretation Centre). It is dog friendly, has a toilet and free fresh water. Sit down, relax then rush back for the Falmouth ferry.

Our first visit since a change of name and I assume a change of ownership also. We had a delicious smoked fish pie full of flavour and large chunks of mixed fish and prawns and hard boiled eggs. Really lovely. And also the tomato and lentil soup with a cheese scone all homemade. I don't really like tomato soup but this was wonderful and tasty especially on a wet dreary day. Great cup of coffee too. We will be back! Make sure to visit the St Just in Roseland church which is very picturesque.

A tea shop with some choice of lunch and breakfast dishes as well. What could be better than somewhere like this before or after a walk (or, in our case, both!)? Answer: somewhere with seating inside or out, friendly service, a bright clean environment, lots of parking and the most delicious home made food I've tasted for a long time. Oh, yes, that's all on offer here. Sadly the cafe will close later in October until the new year due to building work nearby , so get there while you can.

Beautiful location and lovely cream tea. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy it much and left annoyed and angry.

We’d ordered five cream teas and a separate scone and coffee. We received four pots of tea plus the coffee. When I said that we were missing a pot of tea, one of the staff members decided to argue that I was wrong and that we’d got everything we ordered. When I insisted that we’d ordered five cream teas and I expected five pots of tea, the staff member went off and brought us the additional pot and made a big deal about giving me a ā€œfreeā€ pot of tea.

When I said that we’d paid for it because it’s what we ordered, the staff member then and went to get all the receipts for our party to show that I was in fact wrong and got what we ordered.

I will admit that what was delivered was what the receipts showed however, obviously that was not what we’d ordered.

When a customer says that what you’ve provided is not what they expected. Don’t argue with them and tell them that they’re wrong! Perhaps find out why you didn’t meet their...

I'd like to give more stars but I really can't....the soup I was served here at the weekend, although flavoursome, was stone cold. So I sent it back to be heated up (which was met by a look of surprise) and when it came out for a second time it was just about lukewarm. I didn't have the heart to send it back again for further heating. I wish I had done. I felt baffled. The staff were young and perhaps inexperienced, not a bad thing necessarily if you've got a bit of common sense. The first time the soup was delivered there was no spoon given with it, so needed to ask for one, which was given....And then there was also no knife for buttering the scone..so she had to go back and get one of those too. It was not a get your own cutlery situation, if it had been I'd have been happy to. Disappointing that the basics weren't met at the weekend - perhaps they normally are and we got them on a bad day. But I wouldn't return and I wouldn't recommend going but they probably don't need the return custom being in such a...

I was looking forward to visiting renwicks in the lovely location near St just church. We arrived 11.45 so well in time for the lunch menu. There was wasps everywhere so we decided to eat inside. We ordered and within minutes noticed wasps all over inside. There wasn't a single citronella candle anywhere,we did suggest closing the door to help prevent them coming in but it remained open.i ordered the hash browns with bacon and avocado when it arrived there wasn't any hash browns to be seen, the lady said she had put potato rosti on mine as they had ran out. Although the small amount I had served was tasty, the bill for 2x this and 2 coffees was £29. It was poor value for what we got and the service...
