We decided to have a meal as we were visiting the superb Courtyard Dairy. I reserved for three of us. Wow, next time we will plan to go there to eat and then buy cheese on the way out. The restaurant is excellent, the staff, the food were knockout. The view was to die for. A beautiful cider on tap too - perfection. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. The Courtyard Dairy (in the same building) is an experience to be repeated, knowledgable staff, excellent products and a stunning display of cheeses (we'd done several virtual cheese and wine events during lockdown - sanity savers). An absolutely brilliant day out, thank you all.

Was initially worried about the weather conditions as visited during the recent heatwave - was VERY warm partly due to the architectural design of the building with lots of glass and a distinct lack of blinds. However, the staff were attentive and permitted us to move booked tables to a more shaded part of the restaurant which greatly improved our experience. Food was supremely tasty (pizza + potatoes + salad) and the speciality cocktail went down a treat. Will definitely be back whenever in the area and highly recommended to anyone else :)

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from start to finish.

We ordered two pizzas—one was genuinely tasty and enjoyable, but the other was dry and lacked sauce. The quality felt inconsistent, which was surprising given the reputation.

The service was where things really fell apart. We originally planned to dine in but decided to switch to takeout after being ignored for quite some time. While we waited for our order, a customer who arrived after us was seated, served, and had finished their entire meal—including drinks—before we even received our food.

It didn’t stop there. A table of four that came in after us was also served well before we were, and another table of three nearby was offered free drinks to make up for their wait—while we were given no updates, no acknowledgment, and certainly no apology.

It took nearly 45 minutes for our food to be ready. The staff weren’t exactly rude, but they seemed completely uninterested in offering a decent experience. And this was on a relatively quiet day—I couldn’t imagine what a weekend or busy night would be like here.

Given the prices, I expected much better food and service. Unfortunately, it just didn’t deliver. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but I left feeling frustrated and like I wasted both time and money.

I won’t...

The room in which you eat is a little lacking in atmosphere but that for me is where any criticism ends. The view from the restaurant is typically stunning, the tables well spaced and staff efficient, curtious and friendly. The pizza choice is limited compared to most bistros but the pizza bases have to be as good as you get anywhere. Texture is perfect. Light but strong and has just the right amount of 'bite' but still crisp and a slight sharpness to the taste that sits perfectly for pizza. I had tomato topping, cheese with salami. Just the right amount and perfectly flavoured. No sharpness to the tomatoes and seeing all the tins of San Marzano tomatoes I guess your getting the best, so no surprise. The balance of cheese and tomatoes was set against a full loading of salami. So incase it's not clear this ranks in the top two best pizza I've ever had, and I've had a few! It might be a lucky 'one off' but I'm going back. Price wise it's competative with any where but for me is better than anywhere. You can pay a fair bit more and get a fair bit less. Top...

We've been in the area for 2 weeks and already found 3 excuses to come to Rind! The pizzas are amazing, the drink selections are great, the views are something else! I'm not sure we can afford to keep up this rate of patronage but it's a wonderful evening whenever we come. Between us we've tried half the pizza menu and I think my favourite is the chorizo and chilli honey, but it's a tough call. The children's pizzas are good too, only 2 options but I think they've covered all the bases! (As it were!) Also dog friendly! (Entrance around the back, not through the cheese shop) We haven't brought our dog because he's a pain on hard floors and would struggle to settle down but it's lovely to see lots of other families bringing their dogs too. 2 adults (shared starter, 2 mains and 2 small glasses of wine) +...
