Staying in Newquay for the week and met up with friends, called in to see the new owners, Nathan & Kim (friends of friends) to say hello and have a quick pint 🍺 The staff and customers were all lovely and very welcoming ☺️ Really homely inside and spotless 👌🏼 We returned today for an evening meal and they didn’t disappoint 😋 I had the home made lasagne which was stunning, sooo tasty 😋 Hubby had pie of the day (steak & ale) Chicken, ham & leek was also available) also beautiful, proper, fully encased in shortcrust pastry. Hubby not a fan of puff top crust! Our son had a small battered fish & chips (although it wasn’t on the childrens menu) Nathan (chef) was fab, nothing was too much trouble. Desserts (apple pie & biscoff cheesecake 🤤) we’re also well portioned and yummy 😃 Keep up the good work Nathan & Kim, hope to see you...

The pub really cares about the quality of the drinks they serve and I had the best pints of Guinness I’ve enjoyed for...

We were amazed with how reasonably priced it all was! Amazing value for money, huge portions and would...
