Spice Lounge — Restaurant in England

Went with friends who had booked a table. Restaurant was empty apart from us, and freezing cold. We were sat at a table by a filthy radiator, but was thankfully hot, and were left for about fifteen minutes looking at a dirty table cloth. The resturant isn’t licensed to sell alcohol. Eventually we ordered some food, of which the three popadoms arrived promptly. Almost an hour passed before all our food - starters and main dishes were all brought at the same time. The dishes were lukewarm and mediocre in flavour. Nothing special. We did think about walking out during the wait for the food, but as this was supposed to be a treat with friends we held on. At one point we were so cold that we had to heat up the cotton napkins on the radiator and pass around to put on our legs. There was no interest from the staff at all. When we did eventually leave - two hours later, there was one other couple in the restaurant, and they looked quite glum too. This was on a Saturday night! Spice lounge peasdown!!

Me and my partner have gone for evening meal for today.

Food was horrendous.

I order chicken and waited 35 mins. I don’t mind waiting, excepting a nice meal. And well it was far from it.

Raw chicken had blood coming out all over my fork 🤢 They took it away with no sorry nothing.

Waited 20 mins for a replacement and was burnt to a crisp and was dry. So I decide I’m not eating this anymore. Told the staff and was ordering I pay for all of it!

Pointing in are face when we said we are not happy paying for it. And touching are buggy trying to hold it!

I ordered two curries, and they were watery and full of oil it could fill a shot glass and a half on one curry, the food was so tasteless I couldn't eat it, we tried calling for over an hour, and the line was constantly busy. We went to the restaurant and they told us we are wrong, we tampered with it, and told us the boss will call. He never did so we went back, locked the door on us so we couldn't ask for a refund. Managed to see the boss, he told us he will refuse a refund because we opened the box and touched it so he can't resell the food, which is worrying. He would only give us £6 our of our £40 meal because it is "policy" don't go...
