Seriously poor attitude from a staff member answering the phone. They don't update stock on deliveroo. They accept orders when they don't have half the order available leaving it down to the customer to claim refunds. Well this needs to stop because deliveroo start declining refunds when restaurants keep doing this as the customer is seen as claiming too many refunds. She claimed deliveroo automatically accepts orders and tried hanging up the phone when I was trying to say that they need to speak to management as other restaurants are able to decline orders as well as remove items from orders if they aren't available. I wasnt arguing i was trying to explain to her how they can use deliveroo like other restaurants and shops which would prevent issues like this. . I shouldn't have had to deal with this womans attitude when all the mistakes lay on her and if they keep having this issue as she stated then don't you think you aught to do something about it and stop leaving it down to customers to claim refunds amd only receive half a meal? Read moreReview would have been five stars if the coffee was consistently good, which sadly is rarely the case in any Starbucks store, and certainly the case at this location.
It seems that the pandemic has impacted the supply of some food products, which is at last covered with a notice at this location.
However, if you have a dietary requirement such as ‘gluten free’ you can’t try other products, as suggested in the notice. This is not unique to Starbucks and really is a poor excuse for all stores where customers with dietary restrictions previously catered for have simply been dropped. This may have been reasonable a month or two ago, but surely should have been resolved by now.
COVID-19 precautions during our visit on the 18th September 2020 were well thought out with a one way system in operation and good signage. Staff very friendly.
