As a vegetarian, I have always trusted Subway to provide me with a satisfying and meat-free dining experience. However, my recent visit to this particular location left me feeling disappointed and concerned. I ordered a vegetarian sub, but unfortunately, it became apparent that the staff didn't change their gloves between handling meat and preparing my sandwich.

This lack of attention to detail is not only disappointing for someone who follows a vegetarian lifestyle, but it also raises serious health and hygiene concerns. Cross-contamination between meat and vegetarian ingredients can be a serious issue for individuals with dietary restrictions like myself.

I must say that I appreciate Subway's efforts to offer a variety of fresh vegetables and plant-based options, but such oversights can seriously impact the overall dining experience and trust in the brand.

I understand that mistakes can happen, but this is not the first time I've encountered a similar problem at this location. Consistency in food safety practices is essential, and I genuinely hope that the management takes this matter seriously and provides proper training to their staff.

Unfortunately, due to this recurring issue, I cannot confidently return to this Subway location for fear of encountering the same problem again. I value my dietary choices and expect them to be respected when dining out.

I hope my feedback helps raise awareness about the importance of adhering to proper food handling procedures, especially when catering to customers with specific dietary preferences. As much as I enjoy the taste of Subway's vegetarian subs, my trust has been shaken, and I'll be exploring other dining options in the future.

To fellow vegetarians and those with dietary restrictions, I advise exercising caution when visiting this particular Subway outlet until they demonstrate a commitment to consistent and proper food handling practices.

Remember, food safety and customer satisfaction should always be a top priority for any establishment.

Another great experience of excellent customer service from Nic the store manager.

It's no wonder that the store is so well kept and the staff are so customer focused when you have leadership such as this.

Update 14th Febuary I visited the store today And was served by a very happy and cheerful young man by the name of Josh. The thoroughness of his training shown as he very professionally assembled my Sub. Great attitude and excellent customer service.

1st April Served today by pocket rocket 1&2 who are a laugh a minute pair behind the counter but still there with excellent professional service. Both great ambassadors for the company.

Update 27th September. Another very satisfying visit to this well run and well managed branch of subway. I was served this afternoon by Tilly who is a bight, happy, smiling, enthusiastic and bubbly young lady, who also happens to be by the fastest builder of a subway I have ever seen. Outstanding customer service skills she made me feel like the most important person in the shop today. Picture attached

Update since my last visit now definitely rates for five stars and congratulations on installing phone charging points behind the seats it is a brilliant idea.

The service was excellent Z, a delightful young lady with a big smile and awesome work ethic, she never stops, she is a superb Ambassador for the company.

Outstanding improvements since...

We went here today for a quick meal and ended up waiting half an hour in the cue. The staff behind the counter were all over the place, very stressed and looked like no one knew what they were meant to be doing. When I finally got my tex mex, which was meant to go in the oven, it was cold and packed really messy. The whole atmosphere felt really stressful and tense, you can tell the workers were really stressed and I felt bad for them. I got a foot long and took the other half home to heat up myself!! Won’t be going there again and will probably have to pay a parking ticket now as we stayed over the car parks 90 minute total as we did good shopping before and we didn’t think we would be waiting so long...
