Fantastic new cafe just a few minutes walk from the beach. Great Coffee, a huge selection of specialist teas and as the bame suggests, a very different menu. The food here is the real star of this new venture. Specialising in vegetarian and organic food they offer a mouth watering selection. You can get a healthy breakfast, delicious sandwiches, tasty baked potatoes, a selection of four meat free burgers, which I need to work my way through, soups, salads and curries. Takeaway only during COVID but still the service was great; friendly and informative about their organic products including the organic coffee roasted in Cornwall and served in bamboo cups. Just had a coffee and cake. The sweet potato chocolate brown with some nuts and no sugar was great. Not gooey fudge like. 😋 I ordered a scone and was surprised and pleased that it consisted of 2 little warm scones with a little tub of cream and jam as well. 😋 And all for £7. Top score from me. I look forward to having a full lunch later...

Highly recommend a visit here, we popped in several times during our stay in Downderry - the coffee and cake are outstanding, as are the pasties! The cafe has a fab atmosphere, there’s also a small shop for eco friendly household items which do come in handy if you don’t want to travel further out.
