The service was undeniably great; the staff are super friendly and clearly very passionate about their menu, they even said they have people coming back literally every day for the same items. Needless to say we thought we were in for a real treat, especially having read Google reviews too. Unfortunately we were hugely disappointed with the meatball plate. There wasn't much point putting the lingonberry or beetroot salad on there because it was overpowered by the extremely salty chips and the half gallon of gravy that drowned it all. It's unclear if the meatballs were salty or if it was just all the salt from the chips. Swedish Kitchen in Wellingborough and Rushden is my go-to for a hearty Swedish meal.

The Meatball Plate is my favorite with its tender meatballs, perfect crinkle-cut chips, and that unique beetroot salad-type relish—I've been trying to recreate it at home, it's so good!

My wife enjoyed the hotdog, and the burger on a previous visit didn't disappoint. However, it's the meatball plate I keep coming back to.

Run by the Swedish-born Henrik, his expertise in professional kitchens is evident in every bite. The staff is friendly and attentive, always happy to fulfill a request for extra gravy, which by the way, my kids can’t get enough of!

Have had a couple of meals from here, the viking breakfast was amazing, but the Swedish hash actually bested that, it was better than any pytipanna that I've had in Sweden. My only concern is that having this amazing place so close to me is going to make regular treats expensive. Having said that the value is incredible for the food you get!
